I think I'm entering about 100-200 a week now on average and I've just had my first win since November (£40 ish babygym? - I have no baby) and this one was a Rocks & Co Pendant which is worth probably about a week's wages for me.
I quite like being able to enter age-specific ones, local ones and things like student ones where smaller groups can enter - not that it's helped me lately!
2014 wins: maternity/nursing pillow, Magnum chocolate, baby stroller, Baileys cupcakes
Took a break while I moved country (twice).
2018 wins:£400 meal for 4, Clipper tea
2019 wins: flight voucher0 -
It really does just come down to luck and more people are entering comps now too after Martin mentioned it in his MSE newsletter.
I've only won a Pedometer this month so far which is one of my worst months but I keep going because I love the anticipation that a surprise win might come through my letterbox or a WEM.2019 Wins

It's a matter of searching for low entry competitions, you can find lots if you put the effort into it.
What do you search for?! I can't imagine you'll want to tell me this since the whole point is they're low entries :P I've been searching today though and can't find any like this...2018 wins: Aspinal of London jewellery box, Boudavida gym outfit, HP Pavilion laptop, The List party tickets, All Points East festival tickets, Kiehls moisturiser, By Terry cc serum, Nars Liquid Bronzer, Benefit highlighter, Nars illuminator, Fresh advanced lip trio set, Cetaphil sample set, signed copy of My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent0 -
Search for things you like. Such as 'books, ipad, dresses, Gardening equipment' (Your interests) I search for things in my local area, so I'll search for the independent shops and boutiques
If you are willing to spend time sifting through a lot of spam, you can find some lovely start-up companies running competitions. If you search ALL, and various # you can come up with some
I won a runner up prize as the girl only had 4 entries! That was a #mothersday one. And it was pages and pages down. If you scroll down you can find comps people have skimmed over.
Search various hashtags, freebie, win, comp you know the normal things comps come up with!
Hope that gives you an idea(or helps sort of) I spend a LOT of time on twitter.
