Long stopover in toronto

I might in the summer have a long stopover in toronto
(2pm arrive 8 am checkout).
Has anyone ever done this? If so can you please answer these questions.
Is it possible to sleep at the airport?
What is interesting to do near toronto airport?

It's possible to sleep in just about any airport.

I'd personally take a bus into Toronto and do some sight-seeing (anything you find interesting to do - I'm sure there are countless guides about what to do in Toronto!) then stay in a hotel/hostel for the night - either in the city itself or back at the airport. Or just return to the airport that night and sleep on a bench if you really want to sleep there!
