I'd check out their T&Cs (cant find these on their website) before commiting in case there's a catch.

If they're hiding the T&C's it suggests quite strongly there is a catch!

As for most of the websites listed it would be interesting to analyse if they were all set up and registered by the same company, which I suspect most of them probably were. even so, the actually listing you would receive on these sites is probably only a generic listing to the companies website and not an actual listing of your motor.

Most posters seem to be quite skeptical of this scheme and are warning you off, but if you do go ahead, report back if it actually works and an ad for your motor appears on all 101 websites!

I've had a car for sale on www Desperate sellers dot co dot uk since January.
    No one single genuine enquiry.
Around 30 money transfer fraud attempts.
A total and utter waste of money.

Before giving them any of your money, watch to see a specific group of cars and see how many sell.

I've left mine on there out of interest but have in fact withdrawn it from sale.

I'd be interested to know how many people actually sell their cars through the site .

    Hi Guys

I have found your post about Desperateseller.co.uk

I own a website which is on the list (number 28)

We receive feeds with DS adverts every morning and they will appear on our website straight away. I am not sure about other websites listed. I feel like some of them are the same websites?!? Very similar (search boxes etc.) so you might be right.

We went online with our website last year and would appreciate your comments on that.

I cannot guarantee that your car will be sold and that you will not get scam emails (mostly from Nigeria, trying to ban their IP every time) but I think it is worth trying it out

    Look at this review:

    http://www.where-can-i-buy-a-car-online.com/data/uk/42600.htm

I didn't advertise on DS personally and do not really know what their T&C of advertising are, so maybe better to check with them directly.
I hope I helped a bit with any doubts about DS or 101 websites.

    Feel free to contact me
