You could try using the force Luke.0

That's a shame.
And no, I've got an iPhone 4S.
Do you know if there's an app for that?
I'm afraid not, apple don't allow developers access to the WiFi API's which basically means even if inssider wanted to release an app they wouldn't be allowed. Apple are very restrictive with their equipment.0 -
That explains why I couldn't find anything remotely useful for this task when I had a look in the Appstore using my wife's iPad. It didn't even look like the native network selector gave any info about the APs it found either - not even to the point of whether they are 2.4GHz or 5GHz.0

Bang goes that idea then.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -
borrow a lappy to run inssider, or get a cheap usb wifi adapter for use on your pc, couple of quid off ebay......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -

Even borrow a Android phone / tablet with Wifi analyser downloaded from Google Play store ..

To be perfectly fair so long as it connects it probably won't matter anyway - this is a phone we are talking about so it won't be downloading huge volumes of stuff anyway. If streaming or downloads do turn out to be poor then try a random channel change - the only non-overlapping channels are 1, 6, and 11. If the router supports it try 5GHz.
There's more posts now on the thread hi-jack than the original0
