  • Its not looking good for ISA rates so far. The ones already released surely give us an indication that we won't get 3% this year. Very much glad I fixed away for 2 years with the Santander 4% option last year.

    Whatever it is it needs to beat 3.7% otherwise I'll just add onto my existing LTSB ISA at that rate.

    I can't see any ISA hitting that rate next tax year. I'd love to be proved wrong though.

  • I think ~2.5% will be the peak this time around. One bank might do a surprise, like Nationwide last year but I doubt it.

    My 3.0% with Halifax from last year matures on Tuesday so I will be doing something then. I don't think I'll take the plunge on rates immediately, but will be looking at the rates towards middle-end of March. I'll keep the account at their 1.95% rate for a week or two and see what's available. A small loss for hopefully a larger gain this year.
