Seeing that my Employers are not from the UK can the CSA take payments directly from my payroll?
Before people start blasting me for not wanting to pay I already pay over the odds by personal arrangement to ensure my son gets what he needs, I just don't want the CSA contacting my employers.

If you have a private arrangements, why are the CSA involved? If you are paying regularly, and everyone is happy with that arrangement, then there is no need for the CSA to be involved at all. As to can they take money from your pay, I don't know, but I'm sure there will be someone along who does.0 -
Because unfortunately my ex keeps using the CSA as her weapon against me when things don't go her way...... threatening that the CSA takes over the payments which I want to avoid even though she will get less or even nothing due to my work status.0

While you are scared of them, then it can be a weapon against you, the % net pay you have to contribute is well documented, so you have little to fear. Once a case is open then there is no further tactic along that line :cool:0 -
DUTR not scared of my ex or the CSA it's her weapon of choice at the moment I pay over 15% of my annual income plus additional to a savings account, my question is if I work out of the country for a non European company do I if required have to pay through the CSA? If the answer is no I would like to show my ex this and tell her that if I wanted to I could refuse any payment whatsoever so therefore she should be grateful for what she is getting and should stop being greedy.0

If it is the first, then why are you bothered to transfer paying the same amount directly to the csa. It will be the same amount going out, so can't see why that would bother you in any way. If it is the latest, then I don't blame her for her action.0 -
FBaby you are completely missing the point if you read my initial post it say's I have absolutely no issue in paying for my son. Please read this carefully " I pay my ex to her personal account more than 15% of my annual wage and also 150 a month into a savings account for my son when he is 18. Now this is the part I want to put across 'My ex seems to think that she will get more money by going through the CSA she doesn't seem to realise that this is not the case as if I do so she will only get the 15% stated by the CSA or because I work out of the UK for a non European company do I fall out of the jurisdiction of the UK CSA........(which if you look was my question in the beginning). Which means officially I don't need to pay anything.
In simple terms I want to tell her and prove to her without her finding out the hard way that she is getting much more than she should be and to stop being greedy.
Is that easier to understand???0 -

It makes NO difference if it is a foreign company and where you work...
It is all down to payroll.. If it a UK payroll then CSA will be able to assess as UK income, if not hen it will be a REMO claim which could be a whole heap more depending on your registered home address.
My thoughts would be to phone the CSA yourself and you will find out, you do NOT need to ask basic question like that on here, a little thought and research would give you a very reliable answer with very little effort...0 -
Kevin thanks for the answer but unfortunately a simple phonecall to the CSA is not so easy from a ship 150 Miles out at sea by sat phone and is not very viable and somewhat costly. I posted a simple question on here but for reasons unknown I've found myself having to justify why I over pay my ex and why i'm not able to make simple phonecalls. I thought the the idea of a forum was to get outside views form people with relevant experiences obviously I am mistaken and should use more tact next time I need the advice of my fellow country men and ladies.0

What isn't clear its why if it isn't going to make a difference to you financially, i.e. you won't have to pay more going via the csa, it bothers you so much. It usually raises concern when the nrp suspects he will have to contribute more by going with the csa. that's why I wondered whether you were saying all your contribution went to the savings account.0
