What say ye people?
I'm going to view this tomorrow. Thoughts? btw - I don't get emotional buying a car - if it don't feel right, I'm gone.

Would that be the TDS ( T E D I O U S )
BMW service history, But is that a full one and all done when it should be?
No mileage, So its that high is it?
Always wary of buying cars from people that cannot spell. Or is that a typo?
I could buy 3 Mondeo's for that money, And have a holidayCensorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Great cars. Not the pick of the range with that engine but will be a v nice driving car.
Has the essential NAV and leather for residual values and its the M Sport spec which is good news.
Probably high miles at that price.0 -
99K? Sorry, see below. I've had the benefit of both Ads. Take Mondeo point but it's my hobby. I drive cheap 5-series, had 3 already. This one is pushing the boat out mind?

Edit: Autotrader ad has now removed the 99k mileage reference. Going off it already ...0 -
Would not worry about a high mileage .
If like me you only use it for causal use , and every single button worked would buy it .0 -

The e60 is a great car. Real sense of occasion driving them.
I've had three so far - two 535d M Sports and a 530i SE. Really want another but waiting for one at the right price.0 -
Dunno about the spelling issue - I've seen more car ads with typos than without - fair point tho0

Not bad cars, but why even think about it from a driveway dealer?0

If you have had BMW's before, do you have INPA & DIS to take with you?
Engine temps through the hidden menu I'm sure will show the stats stuck open, this will effect the DPF. DIS can measure back pressures so you can see how blocked it is.
Great cars but at that age/mileage, allow a fair pot of cash to bring it back up to scratch. Fantastic cars but do need regular maintenance which very few receive, even a FBMWSH will not mean it is tip top.0 -
Apples, your really not serious are you? Why not just ask where he hangs the keys up for later reference?
No one, private or trade, is going to let you loose on any car wth your laptop unless the deal is conditionally done with a fat, cash deposit in their hand.0 -
I did just that when I bought my 530D.
Its little more than a code reader, you arent writing anything. The results from that will determine if you will facing a £2k repair which maybe why it is being sold.
If I hadn't been allowed, id have walked.0
