just to let you know that i emailed the agency to say was skint at the moment and could they deduct from the modelling work and this is the reply:
"Thank you for your email
Unfortunately, the web company will not commence any work on a child's portfolio until they have been paid in full and without this a child cannot be submitted for work or then be confirmed for any assignment, so they therefore cannot receive any earnings for the fees to be deducted from. However, I can suggest extending the deadline date, if this is of nay help to you please let me know."
what are your thoughts on this?0 -
don't touch them with a bargepole
they will take your money and not get your kids any work
search the net for lots of info about them0 -

Hi there,
i signed my son up to bizzykids and i have one word of advice -DONT! they state that the fee is not for them but to the company who get the pics on the website. He was on for the first year no work came his way. If you do not inform them that he/she has grown or got bigger feet for example they moan. You also have to get a doctors certificate each year (costs more money). They do not send a reminder when the 12 months is up and if you forget (like i did- by 2 days) they immediately remove your childs details off the website and wont reinstate it until you pay the fee again. Basically i was left out of pocket and my son did not get any work at all. steer clear.0 -
I agree. I signed my daughter up for a year and she never got any work in that time. We paid a fee for her photographs to be uploaded on the website and they were always moaning that I didnt update her details - which is a complete pain. I also had to send a doctors letter every so often (every 6 months I think) confirming she was fit and well which was a nuisance as my doctor didnt like me keep getting him to sign a letter and I was embarrassed to be honest.
I cancelled with them in the end as I wasnt impressed but maybe they might be better with other kids.

NEVER pay to join a modelling agency, or for portfolio pics whether adults or kids. they will be able to tell if you child is suitable from some home snaps. There is NO upfront payments in legit modelling. (and there goes the voice of an ex model)The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 10

Any legitimate modelling company that will earn you money, would NEVER ask for any fees upfront. If you have talent, then model companies will be fighting to get you on their books and would NEVER charge you money! They get a cut of the money you earn on jobs, which more than pays for their investment in you if you're good and get lots of work!
I'd stay well clear of this company.
Maybe look in magazines where they use child models, and find out which company these models came from? At least that proves that the company is genuine and finds work!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
as pinkshoes and hapless say not legit agency will demand an upfront fee whether for adults or kids. Some people may get some work through them but by covering their costs there's no incentive for them to get work for those on their books.0
