hi brucey 12345
you might be best putting / requesting this in the Techie section. I am sure someone from there will direct you to somewhere you can get this from!0 -
Hi brucey
you might have a look at this ... you get 30 days free trial
http://www.tune-up.com/download/tu2007/
when you have loaded it go into 'clean up and repair ' and choose the
registry fix from the options on the right
(You would probably get more response if this was in the techie forum )Without the rain you wouldn't have the rainbows !
I came into this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left!0 -
you can get registry mmechanic 5 for free.Come on you Irons0

How do you know you have 800 reg problems?
Just read op again - which 4 did you use0 -
As a previous poster says, download the tuneup utilities free trial.
It will fix all the problems and is one of the best ones around without messing up your registry like some other well know ones that i have used have done in the past.
It is very very good.0 -
You can run Amust registry cleaner from their website. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

The thing is that some registry scanners etc. find "problems" that aren't really "problems" at all.

My PC probably has more registry 'problems' than you, but it runs like a dream.
If your PC runs fine, let it be. If not, & you think it's registry-related, you may be better off reinstalling the OS from afresh if you have the means.
At the very least, create a System Restore (SR) point before using any registry cleaner, & learn how to restore your system if something goes wrong - you're only likely to know at the next bootup though. G0 -
Something to be wary about, & possibly report to the abuse team if it's happened to you (entirely your decision).
I've been getting PMs from one of the posters in this thread (I feel naming him/her isn't appropriate), illegally providing a registration code for shareware software.
As some of you are aware, this is against forum rules (see here). I've tried to be reasonable with this person urging them to obey forum rules, but s/he isn't interested & his/her attitude's becoming increasingly nasty. I have now stopped corresponding with this member & reported the incident to the abuse team. G
P.S. Anyone is welcome to report this post if you think it is inappropriate, & let the abuse team leave/delete it as they see fit - thanks0
