Daisies in lawn

Grub out what you can, and then weed/feed afterwards. You can get a tool designed for lifting them. It's long and thin, but it has a kink in it. You push the two tines under the base of the plant, then push down on the kink, and it lifts the plant out of the ground.
I have no idea what they are called, nor can I find one on google to show you.0 -
Thanks LindseyM, Great link found a few things that I had been looking for.:T

A pinch of ordinary table/cooking salt dropped squarely into the middle of the daisy's rosette of leaves will kill it. You may want to go round the lawn later picking up the brown remains but a good mower should pick them up eventually and save you the job.0

Give your weed and feed a chance to work! You may need to give a second application after 6 weeks. A systemic herbicide such as Glyphosate will can be spot applied and is very affective. For sparse infestations hand forking helps but there will be lots of small plants growing so a chemical control is probably your best option!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0

My lawn keeps growing dandelions. I'd prefer daisies.0

I love the daisies also...each to there own preference...The worst thing I have to contend with in one of our lawns is a weed known as mouse ear...you think it is only small but it creeps under the grass and kills it off in a very sneaky way. If you wish to use chemicals they can also take longer than they say on the label...nature has to be tough and I reckon it is getting wiser......0
