Yes but you must give way to pedestrians (who'll have the green WALK sign) as well as to cars.
You must also stop for school buses, and stop at four way junctions, the other thung we found a bit unnerving is that it it fine to overtake whatever lane you are in so keep your wits about you when driving.
We went in May and there were a few real downpours (don't last for long) and found a poncho was great as it keeps you and your bag dry. You can get cheap ones around 80 cents when we went in places like Target/Walmart but in the parks they were about 15 dollars.
There are coupon books available all over the place, don't be shy in using them as everyone does.
We found having an all you can eat breakfast set us up for the day so didn't need lunch but you will need plenty of drinks, in the parks there are lots of drinking fountains.
We had a fabulous time, so jealous! Enjoy x0 -
Did you use essential travel for travel insurance, I have been quoted £99.85 for superiour plus 25% cash back this is by far the cheapest I have found so thank you, I have never heard of them before though?
That was the travel insurance DH is diabetic & and one of the kids is asthmatic it was just over a £100 to insure our party of 6.
Discovery cove is one of the seaworld parks It's a blissfull day you can swim with dolphins quite pricey but it's a fantastic place just to go swim and be pampered it's all inclusive you just turn up with your bikini they provide everything you need for the day. a (non swim) Discovery cove ultimate package in May will be about £117 that gives you a day at discovery and 14 day pass to Seaworld, Aquatica & Busch gardens (The parking package is an add on of $31) you can save a potential of $179 with the parking pass.
Universal parking is $15 a day they don't do a parking pass.0 -

Yes - just perhaps to clarify this - you cannot overtake a school bus which has stopped to let kids off/on, you have to wait behind it.You must also stop for school buses,
Yes I found these very confusing - they don't like roundabouts in the US so they have these silly junctions instead.and stop at four way junctions,
Not sure that applies to all roads? But yes, make sure you have your mirrors adjusted to elimiate blind spots on both sides.the other thung we found a bit unnerving is that it it fine to overtake whatever lane you are in so keep your wits about you when driving.0 -

Does anyone know where I can see Dolphins in the wild, without having to pay to see them?
I once saw one in the sea off Sanibel island when I was just standing on the beach but that was pure luck. Going on a boat or something like that where you have a higher chance is going to cost money.0 -
I've seen them on boat trips in Sarasota and Amelia Island. Wouldn't think there's a great chance of seeing many without going out on a boat. However last year I was lucky enough to see a manatee at St Augustine :-)Does anyone know where I can see Dolphins in the wild, without having to pay to see them?0
