Where is your hotel? we can then offer suggestions local to your hotel.

    Some activities we enjoy..

    A game of crazy golf.
A few night's in Howl At the Moon on I-Drive (Adults only)
    A stroll around Walmart.
Pie rush Wednesday at the Village Inn
Watch an IMAX movie at the huge cinema on I-Drive
Riding the coasters at Busch Gardens.

    Carhire..
We usually use one of the following:
    usrentacar
    Netflights
    Carhire3000

All of the above sites include the correct insurances/taxes etc for British drivers.

As jones says don't book too much we just had 3 weeks we didn't do Disney did do Universal, the full discovery cove package and Kennedy, we added on spirit of the swamp airboat tour (fantastic) and the firearms adventure, with a few trips to the malls and going out to eat, we drove just over 2000 miles in 3 weeks just in the Orlando/Tampa area had a great time but DH & I could do with a holiday :), driving is easy a lot better than in the UK your soon get the hang of it. if you get chance do pop down to old town on a Fri/Sat night the classic muscle cars are something special. also a mapman map (get them on Ebay) it's really simple to use and was all we needed in Orlando (plan was to buy a cheap sat nav) but didn't need too in the end the map had it all.

Sign up for all the restaurants before you go, they will send you money off vouchers it's very coupon based over there, sweet tomatoes is a favorite of our's, 5 guys makes the best burgers with fuddruckers coming close ( lads made me add that :) )

your have a fantastic time, im green with envy, we are planning a sneaky 16nights roadtrip but not until next march

We are staying in a villa that is closer to Kissimee I think, I need to get the exact address. I think with BA we can buy extra luggage at £34 a suitcase.

if you are perrm located in/near Kissimee then quite a way to Everglades / Clearwater / St Petersburg. Shame as the Dali museum in St P is simply stunning. Cape Canaveral is a must IMO, as others have said. If you're a petrolhead then choice of Daytona or Sebring - or both :-) Wouldn't give tuppence-ha'penny for Disneyworld but hey we're all different.
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....
  • Don't forget that the prices you see in shops and in restaurants do not include sales tax - so you need to add that on. The price on the label is not the price you pay!

Don't forget that tipping is expected in pretty much any restaurant (except self service or fast food) and should be 17.5%-20% of the total BEFORE TAX. You my not like it but the staff are very poorly paid and need the tips to make up their dreadful wages.
Ditto tipping bar staff - usually either 'a dollar a drink'... or 17.5% for posh places!
  • ps: I am very jealous. You must try to fit in Islands of Adventure - Harry Potter world as the sun is setting is fabulous (especially with a butterbeer!).

Oh yes - and if you are just going with your husband with no kids in tow, look out for "single rider" queues on the popular rides. It's a shorter queue with a different entrance, and you are used to 'fill in gaps' on the ride where other groups don't want to be split up. On Harry Potter, when we were there last Easter, it cut the wait time from 2+ hours to about 20 minutes - we went on it about 5 times one day!
