Can a man and woman just be friends?

They can be friends but it's not easy, most men think a woman fancies them if she speak to them for more than 5 minutes! He clearly is looking for more than friendship, I also think he's being very forward!0

One of my absolute best friends is a guy and I can honestly say that there is no attraction there on either part for each other.
Perhaps it's a bit different though because we've been friends since we were very young children, rather than meeting as adults when possible agendas may have been different.0 -
Yvone, in my opinion you need to just be straight with him and tell him what you want and make sure that he knows the boundaries. Can imagine probs a little bit uncomfortable now.
Men eh?
