Royal Brunei £960 in Compensation

My wife and I were on flight BI98 to Melbourne on 27/12/12 that had to return to Heathrow with an engine problem. The flight was then cancelled and the airline said it was impossible to find other flights and put people up in a hotel. I managed to find another flight and persuaded Royal Brunei to give me a FIM (Flight Interruption Manifest) which is a guarantee that Royal Brunei will pay the money they received from me to the new airline for the flight. I had to really fight to get Royal Brunei to do this but it was well worth it. In the end I was delayed by only 8hrs but those that stayed in the hotel were delayed by around 48 hrs!
I tried to claim for disruption on my travel insurance but was not covered as the delay was less than 12 hrs. If I had been covered I would have received around £80. However I subscibe to the Money Saving email and sent a claim letter for 1200 Euro on 14th Feb. The next day I had an email from Royal Brunei confirming they would pay me £960 in compensation, so thank you Money Saving Expert.
The hardest part in the process was finding a contact at Royal Brunei who would deal with me. I only found the details after phoning Brunei.
If anyone else want to claim with Royal Brunei then write to
