Hi

I need to go to cardiff from London on 7/5/2007
Cardiff to Glasgow on 8/5/2007
From Glasgow back to London on 9/5/2007

I thought of taking a london-cardiff-london saver return and a

London-Glasgow- London saver return

Is there any cheaper/easier alternative?

I'd say fly from Cardiff to Glasgow, but you can't anymore :(

I had 1st class travel from London to Cardiff last week (work - usually drive) for £25 each way which I thought was pretty good.

    Good luck!

There are still flights from Cardiff to Glasgow, BMI Baby operate them. They have just recently gone from 2 per day to one per day in the evening.

Bear in mind that Cardiff airport isn't in Cardiff. It's in Rhoose, which is a good few miles to the West of the city. There are plenty of busses though and there is a relatively new train service too.

I think you might be able to get one of those National Express Early Bird tickets between London and Cardiff. Not sure though.

Check the prices using one way tickets as it can often work out cheaper than a return.
