I was looking into this, but sadly only a very few countries will honour the UK quals and one will have to redo the quals again or take some sort of bridging papers. Yes some countries do not have any FSA, but that will eventually change and they will get their own versions of FSA.

I read in Mortgage Introducer a couple of months ago that Spain is the place to be at the moment as their mortgage market is in its infancy but rapidly maturing, and the use of brokers is becoming more popular. If I went anywhere it would be there - get in early, work hard, reap the rewards. I might even consider it once my kids have left school in 13 years. Reckon I might have missed the boat then though! Bad timing, the story of my life...

I have recently looked on http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=54 so in AU you just need to pass online test to be qualified MA.
    Good luck:-)
P.S. If you have any updates about USA let us know please. I just heard that commissions much better than in UK.
