I still remember heaving away (2 months pregnant) whilst feeding my son mashed banana and weetabix. Hopefully the morning sickness will pass and some days have just got to be got through. It sounds like your son was safe and secure so dont beat yourself up. My mum ended up weaning my son and did a very good job so perhaps consider asking people for help?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Don't let yourself get too hungry, have something ready in the fridge for *you* so you can eat the second you're hungry (as Jellybro says, don't let yourself get dehydrated, either)

Going back to bed in the morning? Bliss. Enjoy it while your LO is young enough to go back to sleep too. You need rest too!

As for weaning, your LO will let you know what he likes and doesn't. It's a huge learning curve for you both, maybe leave it for a while so you feel more able to cope?

You're not lazy, btw! Please don't fret, every other new mum has gone through this, and you will too.

I used to give my little boy the Ella's fruit pouches. They are pureed fruit, and you could just keep them handy / let him slurp them from the pouch if you aren't up to making anything. At this age I wouldn't worry too much about a routine with food. Agree if he was hungry he wouldn't be sleeping

I have always found Weetabix really good to wean on, you can mix it with formula milk and though it makes a mess it is good and cheap! They only have 1/2 a biscuit to begin with. Also a big fan of baby led weaning, both mine did really well, soft fingers of toast, nice and quick and can have a teeny bit of marmite if he likes it! Am also pregnant but thankfully through the morning sickness stage, you have my sympathy!

PS also second the sea bands suggestion, I used them this time and they were a life saver!

Thank you for your advice it really does help, with my first the morning sickness kicked in big time from 6 weeks and I didn't start to feel better till about 5months with it wearing off around 7months as much as Im hoping it will pass I think its something I am going to haev to work though :(

Its slowly getting worse by the day but last time I was throwing up 10-20times a day where as I have actally been sick twice since this started so all I can do is hope I don't get into that stage as its wearing off by the evenings but was constant last time...

I know every pregnacy is different but I'm just scared of it affecting my little guy....although on plus side when DS see's me heaving it leaves him in fits of giggles..think he thinks im pulling funny faces at him
