Natwest and charges?

I am noticing a pattern with my Natwest statements this last 6-12 months.
Instead of being charged £20 in one go for returned payments etc, I am being charged 3 separate, smaller items totalling £20 instead. £6 for unauthorised overdraft, £6 for something else and £8 for returned direct debit.
As this is not 1 charge but 3 smaller ones, am I still able to claim it back please?
I have been in some financial difficulty this last year or so and have finally come out of the burying my head in the sand stage and want to face things head on. Claiming back these charges would go a long way towards clearing some of my smaller debts allowing me to focus on the main debts I have via a DRO or similar.
Thanks in advance xxx

I can't help you with the charge for "something else" - you'll have to check with the bank exactly what it is for
The other two charge types are included in this article

It just says "charges" next to it, then one is unauthorised overdraft, the other returned item fee.
Not a huge amount - around £300 in total that i can briefly see on my onine statements going back to 2011 but surely worth contacting them over xxxSealed Pot Challenge

As you are not in debt with your bank, you obviously were able to repay any overdraft (including charges) in full.

I'm sorry, but I can't see an application for being in genuine financial hardship being upheld in such circumstance.0 -
I am not in debt with the bank because I have never had an overdraft with them or a credit card. I had no choice other than to pay any unauthorised overdraft as it is taken automatically when my benefits go in, thus leaving me in hardship because after they take their monies it means I have to delay other bills or essentials from my household if said bills have already gone out etc xxSealed Pot Challenge

Spoke with the bank this morning in branch and have been given an appointment to go in and speak with the manageress on Tuesday.
As it is a small branch the staff know me by name ( joys of living in coutryside ) and she is a very lovely lady so hopefully she can help xxxSealed Pot Challenge
