Unpaid item dispute, can I change to mutual cancellation?

    It might not be obvious that you don't get your fees back as it merely says you can close the NPB and mentions more prominently that buyer will not get a strike. The bit about not getting your fees back is slightly less prominent.

    Otherwise we would all be advising sellers to always open an NPB and close it immediately to get an automatic refund of fees without the buyer getting upset at having the NPB opened against them. It would also be an automatic way of getting fees refunded on day 4 a seller decided not to wait any longer for a buyer especially for a cash in collection item.

    The last time I changed a NPD to a cancel transaction the message I got when the transaction was cancelled clearly stated fee's had been returned.
