It's the same as all the OAPs who swarm in supermarkets at lunchtime or after work, or even worse at weekends, when they've all day while I'm in work to get their shopping! I'm sure we'll all be much better behaved when (if! :rotfl:) we retire!
Wow, how insightful to know the commitments etc of random strangers. Does this extend to people other than OAPs? I'm sure if you were to draw up a timetable with their allocated slots, explaining how they will then avoid inconveniencing you, they'll be happy and humbled to oblige
Can you tell that sort of mindless, insensitive comment ( even said tongue in cheek doesn't disguise the sentiment behind it ) really really annoys me :rotfl: 0 -
Oh no!!!:eek::eek: That really is a violation of the chap's personal space. I've had people put their hands on my chair armrests, or else on the handles at the back, as they go past before now, and it really, really upsets me, just as if they'd touched my actual arm.:(:(:( This sort of thing is, in part, why my social phobia continues to get worse, I think.Islandmaid wrote: »LW - just before xmas I saw a woman actually rest her basket on the back of a chaps wheelchair to lean over him to grab something off the shelf in a SM, at first I thought they were together, but from the comment from the chap in the chair it was soon clear they wern,t:D:rotfl: she went VERY red:TIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
What a beautiful day, the sun is pouring through the living room window , it seems ages since that's happened , reminds me I need to clean the windows :rotfl:
The towels are dry , so I,m trying my luck at another Load on the line.
Been to the garden centre to look at seeds , but at £3 a packet  I went to jtf instead and there they are 49p a packet :T so I picked various salad and veg seeds and some degradable pots , will start doing them tomorrow after work
Going to pick dd2 up from school and she will drive back , she is doing really well now.
Chicken curry for tea with rice and naan bread , the curry is already made so an easy meal0 -

Home now & now getting ready to celebrated belated Valentines Day.
I'm cooking Beef Wellington with Boulangere Potatoes & cabbage, chocolate ice cream for pud, & then nookie for desert, lol.
I need to clear the kitchen table & set it up to look romantic, so best get a wiggle on.
Have a lovely evening everyone

TBH, I often feel as though I'm inconveniencing them when I'm trying to do a weekly shop after work on on a weekend and my local supermarkets are thronged with tutting pensioners!
I think your idea of a timetable is very good - I'll suggest that to my in-laws and their friends! Thanks! :T0 -

My pet hate is ladies who swim side by side in pairs at a very slow pace, while chatting and not getting their hair wet, and hate being passed by someone who is actually trying to get some exercise.
Surprise dinner from freezer hasn't worked out quite right as the unknown parcel which I thought was lamb mince is actually pate! Looks like it's toast and pate then cheese and biscuits for dinner

I now label all leftovers before they go in the freezer after getting OH a meal out when I was working late. What I thought was pork and cider casserole turned out to be stewed apple and cinnamon. Poor OH didn't realise until he dug into a mouthful of apple and rice! :rotfl:
I'm having a massive declutter. BHF came out today and took countless bags of books, clothes, and various pieces of furniture. They wouldn't take an old portable T.V. or a larger one- said they couldn't sell them as they were black. I'd like to donate them as it seems wasteful to take them to the tip when they work perfectly well. Any ideas?0
