Hi everyone, it's a beautiful day here
would normally make me feel cheerful but I didn't sleep well last night so I'm very crabbit this morning:eek:
Been to the gym, just having a cuppa now & about to start cleaning the house as we have friends coming to stay for the weekend.
Have a good one everybody:)0 -
Morning all!
Mumlady1, know how you feel, hardly shut an eye last night and have got up grumpy, stiff and sore. Big yellow ball is in the sky, so should help dry the washing if nothing else.
DD got royally spoiled yesterday, and the pair of them are giggling like hyenas this morning, no doubt they are going out for the day!
WM is sploshing, will be refilled soon, garden could do with a tidy but back too sore for that and its still waiting for the council to come and uplift old furniture from DS room, will no doubt find something to do!
Have a good day all!RIP Iain

Hi all,
HH - hope your feel more chilled soon, hopefully fortune will smile on you and the work troll will ahve found a new job over HT
Went into town this morning hit £land for cleaning stuff and Mr M,s for some essentials, ended up spending more than I planned as me and OH are out tonight and had to buy 'essential' supplies for the teens ie pizza sweets etc
Can I ask why it is that the elders of our commuinity find it perfectly okay to block pavements in 'gangs' catching up on gossip, and when you politely say excuse me, they feel the need to glare at you as if you,ve just rammed them...... Rather deal with a horde of teens
Hey ho washing and cleaning to be done - so much for a day off!!
Have a good one xNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I get that a lot in the local Mr T; I'll be in my wheelchair, with an appropriate trolley attached to the front, and we come across a "gaggle of grannies" blocking the aisle - Mr LW will ask politely for them to excuse us, and we are either totally ignored, or they look at me (me, note, not him!!) as if I'm something they just scraped off their shoe.:( If we only have a few bits to get, I have a basket on my lap, as it's easier to maneouvre, but if we need to buy, for instance, milk, it's too heavy to have pressing on my legs, so I have to use the trolley. Funnily enough, if we visit the cinema and there's a bunch of teens in the mall, we usually get the door held for us.:oIslandmaid wrote: »Can I ask why it is that the elders of our commuinity find it perfectly okay to block pavements in 'gangs' catching up on gossip, and when you politely say excuse me, they feel the need to glare at you as if you,ve just rammed them...... There's a funny yellow thing in the sky - anyone know what it might be? Not that asteroid that's due to miss the Earth by a cat's whisker later today, is it?:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

It's the same as all the OAPs who swarm in supermarkets at lunchtime or after work, or even worse at weekends, when they've all day while I'm in work to get their shopping! I'm sure we'll all be much better behaved when (if! :rotfl:) we retire!0 -
