He PROPER loved the snow. We took him for a big walk across the fields in a local village and he misjudged the depth of a snow drift, scrambled out with snow all over his nose.....then promptly did it again! Daft.

Today is weigh in day!! Off too see his diet nurse about one - hoping that he's lost a bit. He's been very good, well apart from the big lump of icing that he 'hoovered' up when kiddo dropped it! Oh, and the little bit of chicken that we gave him as an Easter treat. And the bread that next door had put out for the birds that he found.....! Still, fingers crossed for a good result. Will report back later!

A little tip for you :) Give him raw veg to munch on for "treats" as they'll help him feel full and as dogs (as carnivores) can't digest vegetables they'll come out the same way they went in ;) so won't do his weight loss any harm!

It's quite amazing how similar your lad is to ours!! Ours also absolutely hates animals, loves the snow, BUT about his gum craving, we haven't come across that, but he desperately loves beer?! If you have an open bottle he will try his darndest to try and get his tongue in it. When we have guests around we have to ask them to be very careful and not to leave beer unattended as he'd have it!!

Here is a photo of the boy with today's favourite toy - lid! Played with it for ages, then sat on the sofa with it in his mouth so it covered his nose!

Took The Boy to his "Biggest Loser"(!) weigh in on Tuesday.....and he's reached his target! He's gone from 9.7kg to 8.5. We were all very chuffed! He got a certificate and lots of fuss. Oh, and a celebratory carrot stick!!

Jake was Kiddo's prom date! How posh...!! He even attended the 'after prom party' (which was in our back garden!), no chocolate fountain for him, he did snaffle a marshmallow though.....!

All the excitement wore him out.....
