On the day of play, you can queue for grounds tickets, which will get you in and can see any matches on courts except centre or court 1.
Once in the grounds you can queue up for returned tickets for centre court or court 1 ie left overs or people who have left half way through day and returned their tickets.
Or just rang around outside the court you want to see play, people may leave early and hand you their unwanted ticket.
Thankyou! :A. I've never been before, even to see the grounds. Maybe if I was super super lucky then on the last day.......a girl can dream :cool:0 -
I got 2 tickets for centre court on 3rd July...mens quarter finals day....very happy !!! :j
Anyone recommend hotels in Wimbledon please ?
Have not stayed in hotels, but if you just wanted a cheap budget hotel Travelodge at Fulham is £37 for the 3rd July currently and beside Fulham Broadway tube and it would be a direct tube journey of about 10 minutes to Southfields. There is a Premier Inn at Putney Bridge which would be a bus journey of about 30 minutes to near Wimbledon. You could also look at The Premier Inn or Holiday Inn Express at Earls court as direct 15 minute journey to Southfields.0
