As you can see she's very much made herself at home. She absolutely loves being in the bed under the duvet. A big change from the drity, bedraggled, matted wee thing we brought home.

She's well and truly landed on her paws! I bet she could never have imagined such a life whilst alone, hungry and living rough.0 -
She's got such a smug wee face too - you can tell she's enjoying every moment of pampering. She sings like mad everytime she gets clapped.0

I saved a kitten after two were thrown out of a car window on the M20 motorway in Kent. One was dragged around a lorry tyre but the other scrambled to the hard shoulder. I pulled over, walked back and got the kitten into my car. I called police who shut the motorway to search for the other kitty but it was dead. I was ready to adopt the kitten in my car but the policeman wanted to. He was moved to tears. He called the kit Lucky and as far as I know they both lived happy ever after.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

my old Sugar cat used to get in bed under the duvet with me. i'd settle her on my chest, paws stretched to under my chin and fall asleep to her purring!Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

i took in a kitten (6 months old) named cleoptra, she was a nurvous cat never trusted anyone who came near her, she was mistreated by her past owners and didnt like young children who she was forced to live with who grabbed her and dragged her (kids didnt know anybetter not to blame really and the owners were frustrated at the cat for not being sociable) i took her in, and it took me 3 years to get her to trust humans, and another 12 months to find her a relaxed home with no children, she got on with other cats so was a plus for her, she was a small female main coon, and i rehomed her with someone who loved the breed knew the breed and cared for her needs being shy with starngers, when we introduced the cat to her prospective new owner, she instantly fell in love with him came over without hassle and not affraid cuddled into him and at that point it had taken me years for her to do the same with me, so i knew at that point it was a match and allowed him to HAVE her.
persistance always pays off with cats if you know how to care for them, allot of people just get a cat not knowing what the breeder is like and like wise allot of people will just get rid to anyone who may not even care for a cat but see it as an object that when a kitten its cuddly and fluffy but not litter trained and kick them out the house dont bother feeding them or providing at least outdoor shelter and then forget about them when they dont appear no longer.
sad times, but i see she has landed on her paws, she's a nice silver tabby cross moggy aswell.0 -
4 months down the line and the scruffy, tatty, dirty wee thing we found wandering in town is now a gorgeous, independent, loving, happy cat. No problems with her at all.

She's a beauty! I think there may be a wee bit of Maine Coon in her, she resembles my two. Wide set ears, strong muzzle, rounder eyes, long fur etc.Norn Iron Club member 4730
