i have a nokia which came from tescos came locked. i unlocked it but it still wont accept my o2 sim .come up invalied sim any ideas?

Hi, was there an expiry date on the sim card pack as i got some free from o2 last year, went to use one recently and got the same message, when I looked on the paperwork it was "out of date"!!0

Either the phone is still locked or you have a very old sim that is not compatable with a new phone. By very old, I mean 5+ years.0 -

Which unlocking code did you use ? Did you use code 1 or 7 ? and did you enter the code without a sim card in the phone ?0

hi i used code one and it unlocked at first attempt but still says sim invalid0

use code 7, code 7 unlocks it to all networks you will need to enter the unlock code again but use code 7 this time with no sim in the phone0
