Hello all you beautiful people,
Thanks to all your advice, I have now two mobile phones - both Motorola (one a defy and the other a flip phone) and I have them with Ovivo... :j:j:j
1 How do I copy the contacts from the Defy to the Flip phone???? (using blue tooth???)
2 Should I be copying the contacts onto the sim?
Bearing in mind I am an absolute novice when it comes to phones so keep it simple
I was able to switch on the bluetooth and get the phones to see each other but apart from doing that, I don't know what is the next step..
Thanks in advance

'Flip Motorola' is very informative...
There are at least 119 of them, including this one released in 1997:
Yes, you can send contacts one by one via bluetooth - if both handsets have it.
Yes, you can save them to a sim card and then import from it, but AFAIK sim card supports only the most basic format and some information can be lost.
The most common way is to export the contacts to a PC or a SD card and then import the file. Defy will do this easily, but you'll have to RTFM for your 'flip Motorola' and will probably need some cable.0 -
Hi Grumbler
I was hoping you would reply to my post... You have been such a help in the past... If I had TFM I would read it...

I just wondered if there was an easy way to do it... so would I have to export to my pc and then import to the flipout as that's the one I want to put the contacts on.... or can I use blue tooth to transfer it to the flipout...
Have pity on me...0 -
Wow!
Both are Androids. Just synchronise both with your google account. As simple as that. If you want to get rid of the contacts in the FlipOut, delete them before synching.
Alternatively, there has to be an option to export to a SD card and to import from a SD card in Contacts >> Menu0 -
Thank you so very very much ....
I knew you would come through for me. :beer:0
