Liar Liar Pants on Fire?

I really don't see a problem here. Nor any need for speculation on how truthful the seller is. I can imagine multiple reasons why he could be telling the truth. Paypal postage is a pain the wotsit for the Post Office. If his mum has put these across the counter, and not pointed out the SD postage, it could have gone in the ordinary post without a sticker. Could also be with a sticker, and will then be tracked by Royal Mail. Either way, you will get your item or a refund.0

We will agree to disagree Macfly as I have indeed specualted the seller is fibbing. I may be wrong and if so I will post if I get it through the door, I'm wrong about a lot so I have learned to own up! lol You make some valid points about the postage issues so we will wait and see!0

I'm crossing my fingers that your seller is telling the truth. I have a horrible feeling that something is not quite right and I wonder if the seller was 'at school' so his mum did the post run if it actually took place.
I was on the receiving end before Christmas of a 14 year old boy selling toys on ebay I did receive them but wish I hadnt. They were filthy dirty, broken and fit for the bin - his parents backed him up saying a wipe would sort them out and sell them if I wasnt happy. Luckily ebay saw sense and the 14 year old got his toys back and I came away with my money.
Good luck hope it turns out ok for you.0 -
Thanks BargainJunky, I very much hope I receive it tomorrow but if I don't at least I am protected, its just annoying when things go wrong!0

" Luckily ebay saw sense" - translation - buyer protection worked as it always does. Now he could be, horror of horrors, a schoolboy? He could be a Mongolian cross dresser, it makes no difference.
What are you like in a real crisis if something this simple gives you a horrible feeling?0 -
Well it didn't come today so opened a dispute and escalated it to a claim in paypal. If it does turn up I will cancel the claim as this would be much preferred but I am grateful that paypal is a safety net.0
