My lovely girl just got a job as a holiday rep, any advice?

Both my daughters have done this - youngest currently chalet hosting in Austria. I agree with Geoffky - it will be the making of her.
Yes, there's been some scares (oldest charged for carrying alcohol underage in Utah - she was 20 ) but thankfully I didn't hear of them until they were home!
Another perspective, as an employer, when I see tour rep on someone's CV I think of responsibility, initiative, resilience, customer focus, team worker - all these positive qualities that tour reps need to survive. It's an experience you can't buy.0 -
I think it would be an extremely good idea to get a deferred place on a course, and then take a year out to do this job. This leaves the most options open. She could either do the job and stay at it for a number of years, or do it for a year or two to gain some experiences before going back to her HND course. Either way, she'll gain some life experiences that will stand her in good stead for the future.0
