    Good morning,

It's a beautiful day here in the south.the sun is shining. it's such a pleasure looking out in to the garden and tits are nesting in the homemade bird boxes. I do hope there's no eggs inside because I'm sure the frost will just freeze them.

I've enjoyed reading your comments on valentine day. I'm not a soppy kind of person but I just love a kind thoughtful gesture. DH didn't wastes his money on a card but did buy some me some posh chocs, heart shaped ones. I'm feeling guilty.......it was raining yesterday and selfish me didn't want to get wet!

Enjoy this fine day everyone and take care.

    Morning everyone

Hugs to those that need/want them that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x

Halight - hope you're ready to read all your cards once postie's been!

Raining, windy and very wet underfoot here this morning as it has been raining most of the night after a light snowfall around teatime last night.

DH up and off to work stupid early.

Work wasn't very busy yesterday so managed to catch up on all the things that I hadn't got chance to do at the start of the week.

I was very good yesterday and didn't visit the SM and made do with food from the fridge/cupboards - we had smoked bacon and cheese omlettes, a choice of jacket potato or new boiled potatoes, and corn on the cob or salad - was a really nice change. I remembered to get the beef out of the freezer to defrost for the stew and dumplings for tonight, we would normally have that sort of meal on a Wednesday but as it's valentines today and it's DH's favourite I thought I'd swap the days over! Tonight we will be having prawn salad for starters, stew and dumplings, with mash and veg for main course and probably no dessert as everyone will be too full - but if dessert is required I have a xmas pud in the cupboard - I don't have any wine though so do need to go out to get some - meal wouldn't be complete without a nice glass of wine to accompany.

Have several jobs on the list to get done today - must get going with the washing, drying and ironing - basket only ever seems to be empty for a few minutes! Will also ring the bathroom company to confirm that we want the work doing so they can start ordering the materials and then give us an estimated date for the work to be started. It's costing a small fortune but will be so worth it once it's done! and the bathroom is in need of updating as bath is cracked and toilet is broken too.

Think I should crack on otherwise I'll be on here all day!

    Keep safe and well x

We re-gifted cards and they both made us smile. I did however send DD into town to buy chocolate and P£rcy Pigs for Kid's Dad:T:T:T
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Re:Letter,

You really can not make some of this stuff up!

I think it would be best to go and see his solicitor, Just in case.
they have made a mistake. But if you make one or do something wrong, Then that's your problem not there's No come back for them on anything that get wrong. Not the same for the like of us!

It should be simple to sort out/let them know.
But always best to get the right advice when dealing with something like this

    Good luck.

    Hi all,

Happy Valentines Day to you all. I hope youve all had some form of token of appreciation from your loved ones, whether it be from a card, flowers or some other thoughtful gesture.

Rosy, so sorry to hear about Leo. I cant even think about when mine have gone though i know i wont be replacing them.

    Jobs for today:

    [STRIKE]Strip beds and wash bedding[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Vacuum downstairs[/STRIKE]
    Bathroom
    [STRIKE]Dust up and down[/STRIKE]

Not sure what we are having for tea tonight. I have found some steak in the freezer so we will probably have that.

Hubbys got things to do today so i wont see much of him (which is just as well as he's not in my good books).

Hope you all have a good day and a sunny one as the sun is shining beautifully here.
