I'm getting work mostly in dribs and drabs at the moment. The odd 20 minutes here and there. I did manage about 3 hours last night, and I've done about 4 hours today before NRT kicked in.0 -
Cool, thanks for that!
I guess after you save to draft the invoice till the period end date and then submit? Or last day of working....
On a slightly different note, regarding paying tax on this.... how does everyone find it? Self Employed route, including it into another business, being quiet about it lol. Just want to make sure I am all above board0 -
Not sure if you've seen this English, http://www.rateraide.com/ but I've found it to be very handy. I just export the data to my invoice around the 1st of the month, submit, then forget about it. I did pay £6 for the full version though.
On the tax side, I just include it in with my other self-employed earnings, I think that's the easiest thing to do.:)0 -
I'm going to sound such a noob, but I am guessing NRT is when no work is available under the project?
Just got my first one today after an hour. Slightly annoying!0 -

I've been using toggle but this sounds loads easier! Does the free version work or would I need to upgrade?0 -

Yes, NRT means there no more work available, but you've done well if this is the first time it has happened.0 -
The free version of Rateraide does work, but I think you need to export the data yourself, and I could never remember to do that, so would have several days of work to manually submit. I just find this easier for me. It also keeps track of your rolling task count, which is handy.0

If it updates the info for you do I need to delete the invoice entries I have already added for this month? I might just wait until next month to test it out.0
-
No, that shouldn't be a problem. The entries for my first month were a combination of my records and rateraide's. And there was some overlap as I kept them both going for a while. When it came to exporting it let me know that some of the entries were overlapped, and that was easy enough to correct.
So keep the entries that you have already added, keep an eye on your records on rateraide. And you can export the data daily if you feel more comfortable doing it that way.0 -
Ah right, I'll give it a go, thanks Ruby!0
