I am working for LB at the moment but have been following this thread with an eye to applying to LF when my 11months with LB are over. I'm fairly unhappy with LB quality feedback as my ratings go up and down like a yoyo even though I'm not doing anything differently and like LF they don't seem to give any individual feedback so its hard to work out just what I'm doing wrong!
Some raters have been saying that LF are worse than LB - is that really the case? If so I'll have to think of another way to make extra money!

So have LB stopped giving individual feedback?

I stopped working for them in March this year, and for the previous three or four months had an email with links to individual marks and the acceptable marks on the 'test tasks' and comments explaining them. I wish LF would do the same. They haven't responded to my request for feedback.

I preferred working for LB because I felt more part of a community of raters, with Webinars, the individual feedback, and the fairly quick responses to emails.

The only good thing about LF is that they approve and pay invoices more quickly than LB.

Oh, and in response to someone upthread, yes the work is the same for both firms. And, you may find that tasks that were in your queue early in the day are no longer there later in the day.

Recent months LB seem to be concentrating on giving more general feedback on task types that raters are having problems with in general - its not helping that on the ones they showed I was marked as "fail" on a couple where I had rated exactly the same as them! As for the quick responses to emails well I wait days ( and weeks on occasion) so if LF is slower then god 'elp em!
Still its money in the bank even if its frustrating at times

Has anybody who emails LF re reviews heard anything yet? I've sent 2 emails now but still no response.

NRT too after 8 minutes work.

I emailed on 26 June asking politely for feedback and explaining that it's difficult to improve if you don't know where you're lacking - but haven't even had an acknowledgement.

(I'm busy with other things this week until Saturday so haven't been logging in for LF work. I did look back at last year's diary and saw that there were lean periods when I worked for LB with lots of NRT days and days with only 2 minutes - so it's not likely to be just a LF phenomenon.)

Hopefully they are just busy and haven't got round to replying yet. I've emailed twice now, and like you not even had an acknowledgement.

I do remember last summer at LB was pretty rubbish, and I've seen on chat that LF was the same, I just didn't think it would be quite this bad!

Well, I take (some of ) it back - I've received a reply to my email asking for feedback and it's specific to me and my recent tasks, has given me a pointer as to what I should be looking at, and is therefore helpful.

I'm not going to go into any further details because of the NDA but I have softened my view of them a bit as a result.
