I've just started working again after a holiday, and have just done 10 tasks of a kind that I know we are assessed on - could it be the monthly assessment tasks given that it was only that 10 of that kind in my queue?

I've finally been allowed to start work :) Can anyone tell me whereabouts I can find out what the pay rate is? I've looked on the site but can't find any reference to it - maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?!

    thanks

Hi, bangragal - I'm surprised you got this far in the process without knowing but if you log into the site you'll find it under the tab called something like All Projects.

I know you are not supposed to discuss rates of pay etc, but can anyone tell me if the personalised search engine evaluator position with Lf is better paid than the Internet crowd worker at lionbridge? Or maybe which might be the best to go for? i am currently deciding which to apply for and I am really not sure
I understand you may not be able to comment on it and appreciate any help you may be able to give me
    Many thanks

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can compare the two. AFAIK the LF position is paid on an hourly rate and the LB is per task.

I don't know anything about the LB crowd worker role, but IMO LB is the better company for UK workers. LF is very USA based, including the training materials and quality ratings. If I had the choce between the two I would go for LB everytime, but then things may have changed since I was working for them last year.

I was just wondering what other people do if overall at the end of the month they have been too slow. Do you invoice for the time it took or do you deduct the excess?

I was paid by the hour as an internet assessor for LB...
