I received an email me telling me I'd passed all 3 parts of the exam on the 18th March - since then have heard nothing! Emailed them but no reply, have logged in but theres just an auto message saying I'll be contacted after my docs have been reviewed.

Is it usual for them to take so long?

...have just read that a few people have had the same issue, I emailed using the address that the congrats email came from over a week ago, but will try again.

Hi, I passed on 21st march and started working on 29th so would definitely chase up again. I replied to the congratulations email a week after I passed to chase and was activated the next day. Hope you get it sorted!

I've been meaning to post this link since I saw it on chat last week. It's an add on to firefox that some raters use to help with timekeeping..

Just a quick bump of this fab add on for new raters to see. I use it for recording my times its brilliant!
  • I received my email that I passed all three tests on April 1. Heard nothing since. I have emailed them three times with no response. :( How long does this usually take?

I used to work for LB and it seems LF isn't that great to be honest. Silly toolbar and timesheet just seems like it's going to cause problems.

Around the same time I have started on 'crowdsourcing' for Appen Butler Hill:

Sometimes there's no work but as soon as you earn $50 it's paid into PayPal. The work's easy to do too, and I enjoy doing it more than LF to be honest.

Applied to LF in mid Feb and my application is STILL being processed. Previously worked for LB so can't see there being any problems but they just won't reply to my emails chasing them up.

Anyway... so I also applied to ABH as above last week and had my confirmation email through today that I've been accepted and have signed all my contracts etc so just waiting to start work now!

When one door closes etc.... :j

Many thanks to PurplePow for the link! :T

I thought everybody might be interested in the outcome of my invoice problems.

For anyone that missed it, Leapforce said my invoice was wrong by 8 hours.

This has been going on for 10 days now. I emailed them my records as they requested. These are very detailed, and I could say exactly which task I was working on at whatever time they were interested in.

They've totally ignored this, and I've ended up revising my invoice to match their records.

I know I was working during the times I have stated. I worked with LB for over 11 months and not once did my invoices ever get rejected. The only thing I can think of is this might be down to wireless issues, but I doubt this was the case.

I understand LF have a job to do, but I really don't like the way they have done it. The tone of their emails and responses was often quite unprofessional IMO. They've ignored emails, and took days to get back to me regarding my invoice. I feel I had no choice but to revise it if I wanted to get paid.

I highly recommend Rater Aid if you're not already using it. At least if there are any problems you can get a copy of their invoice then, not that I am sure it would do much good.

I hope my experience is a one off. If it was to happen again I would defintely look into it legally because I don't see how they can expect people to work for free. Hopefully that won't happen though, I did have my first invoice approved without problems. Maybe I have just been unlucky but I did want to warn everyone to be careful.

I'm really sorry to hear about your invoice problems Lexilex and the disappointing outcome.

How is work generally going for everyone?
  • I'm lucky and still seem to have plenty at the moment. Have done just over 19 hours so far this month

You're welcome! Hope you enjoy it. There was a big task on there a week ago and there was bonuses for doing so many and keeping your quality score high. Hope there's more of that!

So sorry to hear you didn't manage to get your invoice sorted lexilex.

Fo everyone else, it's a reminder to keep accurate records of the times we have works and tasks.

I really hope this is a one off.

Another +1 for rateraide, I find it invaluable as I went wrong in my first week with my pen and paper.

Just a quick question. Rateraide tells you what the AET for each task is and how you performed. If you have gone slightly over the AET, do people revise their invoice so that it matches the AET or do you invoice the time worked?

I presume this has an impact on your productivity.

    Thanks
