Interesting. Luckily for us testers we don't have to be better than the AI at its job, we just have to be useful in constantly helping the AI get better at its job. Even if it's 90% perfect, they need us humans to fix the 10%.

And when it's finally 100% perfect, we'll need John Connor and the resistance

I suspect it's a lot easier, at least for now, to process images rather than vague and imprecise written language.

When it is 100% perfect I'm definitely going to take the blue pill, if I get a choice.

    Hi everyone,

I used to work for Lionbridge 2 years ago. My partner would like to do it now (perhaps me as well, not sure). Would you recommend Leapforce instead? Or would you advise one of us to do LP and one to do LB?

    Thanks!

    Hi Immuno,

I can't remember if LF and LB share clients, but if they do you wont be able to work for them both (even if you work for one and you partner works for another, they will just see an IP conflict and kick you off).

I'm not sure on the rules of two people from same household both working for one, I would say they would look down on it as it's hard to tell from their end if you are just "dual boxing" (doing both jobs simultaneously). Maybe worth asking though.

Thanks! Do you think Leapforce would be a better option out of the two..?

I've only worked for LB and Appen so can't comment on LF. I would suggest trying all 3 as it can be hard to get in so best off giving yourself the best chance (maybe try LB first and mention you have worked for them previously)

I read in my work contract that I'm not allowed to work for anyone else - so does this mean I can't work for Leapforce or Lionbridge?

Also, my partner applied for Leapforce and is waiting to hear back. I'm guessing this means she shouldn't apply to LB?

Hi all, I have recently signed up to Leapforce. I have had my qualifications reviewed and completed the online paperwork. I now have to qualify for my first project. There is only one project on there at the moment and you need a Facebook and Instagram account which I don't have. Will more projects be added or do you have to qualify for the first one they offer you?

Thank you for any help :)

Anyone? I won't bump the thread again if no one replies.

    Thank you :)

It's hard to say. Normally, no you don't, but I guess you being new it won't look great. They will load new tasks as they come so I'd just keep checking. There'snot much you can do if you dont have the required apps. That said it might be worth checking what the task actually is, it might just require you signing up to either just to access the system (you might not need to add friends etc)
