Been restricted and really need the money this month
That's bizarre. I got SS for both and I've not been restricted. Had a UA in the past and have never been restricted.
My averages are ME, ME, SS overall so I'm not confident I'm going to be renewed.
However, two days after the reviews I found out I got my dream job and first full-time position since graduating, so I'm no longer shackled to my computer nor concerned about reviews :j
Well done to all those who get good reviews, it is something I have not mastered which has probably not been helped by my refusal to re-read any part of the guidelines since starting. I refuse to work for something I will not be paid for
I would like to continue with LF because the additional income is always welcome. Should I not be renewed, however, I will certainly not miss the uncertainty of when work will be dropped and those dreaded reviews and fear of restrictions.0 -

WOOHOOO!!! :j Congrats on the grad job :d I'm still in the process of finishing my Masters and hope to find one soon, but i'm still waiting to hear from Leapforce which would help hehe.
I wonder if you can apply for Lionbridge and not get slammed in your LF application.0 -

I was restricted once, but it wasn't for quality it was because I had released too many tasks! I hadn't released loads as such, it was more that I had had a short run of techie/torrent ones in a row that I had to release as I couldn't do them...I concluded there was no point me guessing when a more tech-savvy rater would do them without any probs. I wonder if it is the same for you? When I emailed them to ask for advice, I was "uncapped" very quickly once I explained what had happened. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hello, both new to this forum and still relatively new to LF!
Ended up not doing so good in my reviews (ME and UA(!)), I ended up getting restricted for quality this month.
What can I do when I'm restricted like this? Is there any way I can help alleviate the restriction faster or am I forced to wait it out?
In the meantime, whenever I can't work, I've been practicing a bit more on the Sims each day; I seem to be doing fine on those and I understand how I messed in the reviews, so hopefully I will do much better the next time around.0 -
From earlier:oneflewover wrote: »Have you been restricted? If so, make sure to e-mail quality and explain why you rated how you did, and explain that you understand why it was wrong and what you'll do to improve, etc.
They might review your work sooner and lift the lock, but most likely you'll have to wait until the next set of reviews.0 -

Yeah oneflewover is right. A detailed response explaining how you can see you made mistakes and that you understand the correct ratings (quoting from the guidelines if you can) will help them see you want to improve. You can also mention you've been doing sims and how well you've done on them.
Lots of people have had caps after bad reviews (myself included) and we've survived so you absolutely can get through this. yes it may take work that you aren't paid for but if you want to keep the job it will be worth it in the longterm.0 -

Is it just me being incredibly thick or is it all a bit cloak and dagger and complicated?? I can't seem to figure out what they're asking me to do - it's all 'log in at this certain time' etc!
I 'think' I'm in the test stage, had some multiple choice questions and then I have to 'enquire' as to whether the next stage is available to me - I'm demented!!
We all have to sign a non disclosure agreement so its defo all cloak and dagger and makes it sound much more exciting than its is, but its not bad work and its pretty good pay.
