Can I just ask which bank accounts people use as I am having trouble with Santander.
The Santander account was the only account I hold where the bank doesn't charge for international money transfers. When I inserted the details with the LF payroll system it auto corrected it to a slightly different number, but the first payment went through without issue.
The second payment was rejected. I emailed the actual IBAN and BIC as given on my online account to be told its invalid, despite San saying its right . Waiting for San to get back to me on that one.
Can people tell me any banks who do a good easy to open savings account I can open to get my payments into without charge.
In the meanwhile all I can do is get this paid into an account where the bank charge .

Ugh, what a pain. I use Nationwide and they don't charge. Apparently Barclays don't either. Hope you get it sorted.0 -
Barclays don't charge as caitchbee has said
or at least the current accounts don't. I don't suppose savings accounts are different? Hope you get sorted soon..
