Thanks for the link. Will join chat and have a look.
Does anyone know how long before you get our first payment, obviously even if I get going and working this week I don't expect to get a payment at the end of November as surely the time is too short, but perhaps will get a payment end of Dec?
Not sure how the payments work and would appreciate any rough sort of time scales from those who have been there and bought the T-Shirt so to speak.

Congrats Alibobsy!
We are paid monthly, notmally between the 23rd and 28th of the month. So you will submit your timesheet at the end of November and will be paid for that in December, between 23rd - 28th0 -
Thanks for that, so hopefully if I can get going in the next 10 days or so we will get some extra to help either just before or just after crimbo yay!

Can I just ask you guys, when doing your invoice do the actually times-not the timings I have the amount of times, but the actual say 12.00pm to 12.04pm have to be exact or is it a case of as long as the amount of time billed is correct the actual times input can be just around the correct time?
Hope that makes sense lol.

Also do I bill for exact times done or the times they state the things should take.

You need to bill for the exact times worked. If you did nine minutes work from 9am until 9.09am that's the times you need to put down. They are quite funny about it.
You can only bill for the time you are working on tasks and logged in to the tool bar. If you only spend 6 minutes working on a task before going on to the next one you can only bill for those 6 minutes, even if the estimated time to complete that task is 10 mins.
I really do recommend Rater Aide. I didn't use it for the first few months and it does make life so much easier. It saves the time you log in and out, and also records how many of each task type you have done. There is a free version that is perfectly adequate.
If you do get quite into the job the paid version is worth it though. I've recently upgraded to this version because I was getting lazy with invoicing and leaving it until the end of the month, then having to spend hours entering all my info. This saves all that hassle.0 -
Has anybody received payment yet? I was hoping it would be today after getting the committed email on Wednesday.0

The timings have to match the times you are logged into the LF toolbar, if they don't you may get your invoice rejected. So if you log in and start working at 3.30pm and log out at 4.10pm that;s what you put on your invoice. If you haven't already download rateraide as it keeps track for you. Also do I bill for exact times done or the times they state the things should take.
If it takes you LESS time than they say the tasks should take, you bill for the time you were working. If you take MORE time than they say you should take you use how long it should have taken you.
Join the chat and there are lots of UK raters who post in the International room.0 -

Snap! I had been considering it but there was one month where I had worked a lot and hadn't even started my invoice, couldn't face it so upgraded!!0
