Which? 1 - Air France 0 (£1,000 compensation)

The return flight from out Honeymoon was delayed in Early 2011. By chance I had downloaded the Which? app while away, and was pretty sure we were due compensation, €1200 to be precise. The flight was cancelled due to 'technical problems' which doesn't mean you can't claim compensation. I wrote to them several times, they ignored me. Finally I started Small Claims Court proceedings, they eventually wrote to me through their lawyers. SCC like you to try and resolve the matter before the court date, so I called their lawyers. He asked what I wanted, and I told him £1000. He laughed down the phone at me. Told me that would never happen. I stuck to my guns. They eventually offered me £900. I refused. Hey presto, next thing I know they were settling and I got a cheque for £1000.

When the cheque cleared, I called the lawyer again. I reminded him how much time it had taken to get justice. I reminded him that he laughed down the phone at me. I told him I would never fly Air France again. I finished by telling him I was off to the Apple Store to buy a brand new iPhone 5.

Sweet.
