I travelled with 2 others back from Sharon el sheik - Egypt an had a 9 hr delay back to Manchester. I contacted EU Claims paid the £24.99 an sent the letter off to monarch. I had to send original boarding cards, flight confirmation, booking confirmation (all originals so I no longer have them - clever?).
To be told 3 months later by monarch I had no claim as there was a bird strike on the plane coming from Malaga. How can you query that? An how many more 'bird strikes' will there be?

I just read your other post on the Monarch thread. So, it's not even your flight that had the bird strike?
Ha ha ha Monarch really take the biscuit.
Look at the FAQ's regarding delays 'to the flight concerned'.0
