Thanks for the replies everyone.
It seems like there are multiple reasons why people dont like threads being bumped, and all your reasons make perfect sense.
I am glad this threads provided you all with an outlet to vent your bumping furstrations and it's provided me with an informative and humorous read.
I vow to never become a bumper...except in here...scouts honour lol
