    Hi VanPopple.

We'd end up looking like some of the comps on Heart radio with superfluous post on why the win would be nice etc :-)

Yes i never thought of that some of the comps which have comments boxes are full of peeps saying stuff, like - after a year in hospital/lost my job/battled through illness/i work for 50 charities etc..
And THAT would actually do my head in more than anything..

So i will alter my opinion slightly to - its ok to bump IF there has been a date change or specific general changes on the comp/end early etc...
Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:

I think if it is a changed end date or new answer that’s ok. but when its a comp with 7000 prizes and loads bump to say 'thanks I Won' it can get frustrating thinking this could happen potentially 7000 times and each time I open it to see if it is important info/new answer/end date etc.

mind you some people seem unable to read the simplest of T&Cs in some comps(thinking The Times here ) and ask the same question endlessly despite the answer already being posted 5 or 6 times in the thread already

It was annoying during the advents when people were bumping just to say they had won yesterday! If you want to announce a win there is the IwonIwonIwon thread!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

If everyone commented or said thanks, or informed us that their husband's granny's sister's niece once visited that place (eg hotel/holiday comp), it would take us forever to get through the comments. For every 300, there'd be one that was essential to us entering (eg a change of answer). It would take forever! I imagine most OPs would add an alert so they'd know if someone commented on the post. For those who post hundreds daily, can you imagine their email inboxes?!

How many would too many comments be? Would everyone be allowed to comment? If there's a limit slapped on comments, why not just stick with what we've got and say none.

Not everyone can or chooses to log in or hit the tick/thanks. Some people will end up entering things twice or maybe disqualifying themselves.

The pringles advent had 92,000 speakers as prizes and at one point it felt like everybody who won one was posting on the thread...

    I agree,

It was awful trying to keep up with all the lovely comps to click on one 4 times with someone saying the same answer as the first one had!.

I've no idea why it was so bad this time as the previous two years were not like this.

I'm hoping it dose not happen this year!

I comp from the main page, even though I have green ticked & red crossed the comps as I go, when they come back to the top you have to click them again in case there is a change in the comp.

    It really drives me dizzy.

The ones I'm finding at the moment that are bumped when there's no need is the ITV comps, we all know they have problems with the comps for a while so why do 6 or more people say it's not working!!!!!

    I hate seeing....

    Not working for me!

    Nor me!

    Me neither

    Not working for me!

    Not submitting!

    Not working!

Why can't the person who finds it does work for them (so the problem has obviously been fixed) just post to say -'working now'???:rotfl:

  • In a similar vein to BlueBella, I hate it when there's a comp that needs 5000 likes and people go ...

    4599 now!!

    4890 now!

    4937!

    4993!

    and so on ....

    arrrgghhhhh!!!!!!
