Finance on a stove

Hi guys I am new to this forum so be gentle,
I currently have a stove which was already in when I bought the house about 3 years ago, we are moving the living room around a bit and decorating. The stove is quite old and won't match the modern look I will be going for.
So now to the question I have seen a few websites that offer finance on stoves. Some companies offer low APR but I have come across this website which offer 0% finance for 12 months called stovesaver which seems like a good idea seen as i'm spending so much at the moment
The stove I am after is a carron 7.3 in creme.
Can anyone see a breakdown ?
Just didn't know if there will be some set up cost or settlement fee after or is it me just being a bit cautions any tips would be welcome or past experiences.
Thank you.

Never heard of anyone buying a stove on finance before but i suppose it probably used to happen via loans or other scenarios.
I'm more surprised that Carron stoves are now £900.
About two years ago that stove was less than £600

I think there are different models as the one I want is 7.3kw rather than the cheaper 5kw.
I think the site was called stovesaver seems like a good deal would rather pay over 12 months than at once just wanted to get feedback on if anyone has done it this way,
Thank you.0 -
It wasn't the smaller model.

Ok i'll admit it is 6.7Kw and not 7.3kw but you get the idea.
So i stand by my response that stove is now £300 more than it was just two years ago.
Edit:- The finance side is via a third party, i'd suggest speaking to them if you want to query how it works?0 -
Yes I think stovesaver have a finance calculator link on there website but for some reason my computer wont open it. Thank you for your help.0

You need to write down all the questions you want to ask them before you call them back, I personally would never have it on HP, you will have that to pay, plus your wood , plus your coal, sounds very expensive to me.......
If you cant really cant afford to buy it outright wait until youve saved up enough then go out with cash and get a bargain, you probaly will pay well over the odds if the company are financing and supplying it.......
After all you do have a woodburner to use now , all be it the wrong design , but it will still heat your room......0 -
7.3 is a big stove. Do you really need such a big stove?0

Getting a stove on finance just because the old one doesn't match the decor is utterly bonkers IMO0

Our stove that is in at the moment is rather old, could do with replacing so I thought get the stove in first as it might be a little bit messy then start decorating. Will give stovesaver a call today. Yes I believe that the 7.3 would heat my room enough.
Thanks guys for your help,:beer:0 -
How big is the room? In most average houses a 5Kw would be fine.
What make/model is the old stove - if its a good one, it could be worthwhile selling it towards the cost of the new stove.0 -
All done and dusted now Got the 7.3kw Carron stove 10% deposit and the rest split over 12 months on interest free, they also gave me free delivery stovesaver said delivery would be about 3 days so looking forward to it.0
