    Thanks krlyr,

I decided on Argos Platinum (so I can blame GR later on ;) )

The cover looks pretty identical to petplan, but I understand what you are saying about premium rises. I suppose I am just crossing my fingers it doesn't shoot up that much!

I don't suppose you have a rough idea of the cost of re-starting the vaccinations for Zara, GR? I think the vet is going to say Diggers vaccinations have lapsed and need to start again.

I only recently realised I could haggle at my vets so would like some ideas of other prices :)

Apparenty Easipetcare (the place I linked on page 1) in Burton are doing a Valentine's Day offer tomorrow, half price vaccinations - can't see it on their website but someone mentioned it on Facebook. Might apply to other branches? Probably a bit too late notice and too awkward for you GR but may help someone else reading the thread, might be worth calling their most local branch to see

Have you looked at Titre testing? This will give an accurate picture of your dogs(?) immunity to Parvo, Distemper, Adenovirus (not Lepto) & whether he needs any Vaccs at all.
Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!

Thanks but I am happy with the £15.00 per head that I booked now thanks to Dr_Cuckoo3's reasearch :D

I get boosters for all 5 (4 cats and a dog) for a total ofg £75.00 plus £20 for getting there and back (kind of a cab to get them all together at one go) so £95.00

    :D

Paradigm, I assume titre testing means a blood test?

With Digger I am guessing people stand more chance of keeping their fingers if we just go for the usual vaccinations!

    Just came back from

    http://www.yourvets.co.uk/our-clinics/dagenham-clinic-opening-january-2012/

Dog and 4 cats - all boostered up for a grand total of £75.00 at £15.00 each

Additionally got the cats wormed, £20.00 for all of them but as auntie Jojo not dues to come soon... prefered the vet to do it than myself LOL

Thanks a lot again for all the advice here.

Especially Dr Cuckoo 3 for the tip about those vets at Dagenham

    How much was Zaras booster?

Digger was at the vets on Monday for his vaccinations which they started from scratch as it had been too long between boosters. That came to £47 for Mondays jabs and includes the follow up jabs in two weeks time.

Just looking for an idea of prices for when his boosters are due.

Also just ordered his Frontline and Drontal online. What sort of prices do people pay for these? I was looking at Advocate but couldn't find anywhere that would do it without a prescription. I don't realise it required a prescription
