eBay customer has trashed all of my stars...

Just wondering if anything can be done.
What has happened is a customer has bought one of my items, and for whatever reason didn't receive it. She let me know, and I said no problem I'll send another. I confirmed address with her and that was correct, so another item was duly dispatched on the same day.
Two days later I get a negative feedback "Did not arrive when due...Did not arrive in the packaging advertised".
Ok, it didn't arrive when due, which is a shame, but ultimately I was at the hands of the post office. Customer suggests the item did not arrive in the packaging advertised. The item arrived EXACTLY in the packaging described in the eBay advert, which was more than adequate for the item purchased. She clearly hasn't read the advert, decided she doesn't like the product (which was correctly advertised), and wants to send it back.
So, to make things worse, she's now put a claim in, which of course she will win. So, she gets 1) Her money back 2) Its cost me money to send the item 3) Shes given 1 star all across the board 4) Shes left negative feedback.
What irritates me is that I've paid to send someone an item which they not only are sending back for a full refund but theyve ALSO trashed my account, unfairly.
Now, what I'm wondering is that because she's left all 1's for the stars, is it worth phoning eBay and saying look, shes obviously unreasonable, she's left 1 star for everything and surely I can't be that bad at everything.
Losing interest in eBay to be honest... I try to provide fantastic service to all customers, and when you get unreasonable weirdo's like this one, it really irritates. She's cost me money just to screw up my eBay account.

The report a buyer feature is supposed to be for 'unreasonable demands'. Sounds like just a PR excercise from Ebay though.
The fact all stars were trashed gives you more chance.
Whats their feedback left for others like?0 -
She's pretty quick with the Neg button to be honest, and its almost always about a Non-delivery or slow delivery. Personally I suspect the delivery isn't slow, but she just doesn't like the item. Thats just my personal opinion though. I'd say she leaves one negative every 30 purchases.
If not all the stars were trashed then I'd have given up immediately, it just seems like shes being completely vindictive and isn't a nice person.
Still, if eBay can't/won't help, I'll enjoy sending copious pizzas, taxis and skips to her house.
Sounds a bit childish, and it is. I've had negatives before, and learned from them and got on with them, but this one was undeserved.0 -
Just had another look at her feedback, she starts off her eBaying life by leaving positives for everyone, then as she leaves one negative, she starts leaving plenty of them, clearly getting off on ruining peoples accounts.
Shes quite obviously a weirdo.0 -
There are quite a few account bashers - some post on here. Its an inferiority complex thing - the only way to bring excitement to their sad pathetic lives.
Mention all the negs left for others when reporting. I think Ebay only act if several complaints are made - so may aswell make yours know.0 -

I take it that is a joke, you wouldn't really do that would you? If so, it would be the businesses involved that would suffer far more than her.
I sympathise with you about the unfair feedback, a totally unreasonable buyer.0 -
Scam her back if she ever sells anything.
It's all I can suggest. It's the easiest thing in the world to scam a seller.
Something needs to happen to get teh brains at Ebay HQ thinking of a way to make it safe for everyone.0 -
I have had a customer leave me a positive with the comment, very nice dress but it will have to be altered. Its a little bit like leaving a hotel review saying, weather was atrocious.:D0

I'd respond to the neg saying either "replacement item sent as soon as buyer notified me of non receipt" or "buyer seems to like leaving unnecessary negs for most items purchased"Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I would take note of this as sizing varies from make to make. I believe some people put the actual dimensions of clothes as well as giving the dress size. It is good to describe as accurately and completely as possible.I have had a customer leave me a positive with the comment, very nice dress but it will have to be altered. Its a little bit like leaving a hotel review saying, weather was atrocious.
I've just seen your thread.

Is this one of your buyers you have asked to give feedback? Asking for feedback can open a can of worms and provoke unwelcome responses.0 -

Thanks, I put the measurements in, and always advise buyers to contact me with any more questions, it was a delicate dress.I also add a comment about the particular designer ie these sizes tend to come up small, in relation to regular sizes , I do sell a few items of clothing so I know the pitfalls.
As I said in that thread, that was the first time I asked , and no, it wasn't this item.
Techspec seems to think Ebay don't do this, but you know they do, presumably.0
