Orange help please

Every time DD sends a text from her iphone5 on Orange she gets an "SMS delivered" notification which she is charged .008p for. Not a huge amount - but as she has unlimited texts this soon adds up. The charge is out of plan so there is a cost involved.
Anyone got any idea how we stop this and if we have to ring them, does anyone have a number to do so please as I think they are a nightmare to contact!
Should have added iPhone was an unlocked sim free one bought direct from Apple so no Orange tie in.
