Please Help - Wireless Connection

Hi I've recently brought an ACER Aspire5051awxmi laptop, which is wireless enabled using the built in adaptor - ATHEROSAR5005G

I ordered AOL wireless Broadband which comes with the Netgear Router DG834G.

However when I tried connecting it wirelessly last night it keept coming up with 'cannot detect wireless adapter' message.

I contacted AOL who said I need to configure the ATHEROSAR500G.

Any ideas what I need to do to get this working and how I conigure it?

have you had a look at aols website, they should have a network connection troubleshooting guide
also have a look at the manufacturers website for the router, it is possible it isnt transmitting its details, so you need to connect to it via a network cable first to get the router name/port etc

go to the ACER web site and make sure you have the latest wireless drivers

or try letting XP/Visat manage the connection
