can the number not be ported any other time?

My contact ends on 18th May, so need a new deal, this seems okay but i was going to just ask t-mobile to make the phone PAYG (which they can do come the 18th May) and then suppose i can get pac code that day and do the order?

as cant get the pac code before the 12 months ends.

I'll use the phone spot as they are a subsid of CPW so i feel safer with them.

I think with O2, there's no problem as to when you port your number to them. I have done that previosly when I was in the 5th month of contract and ported to O2 from T-Mob!

you have to have the pac code at the time of order for o2 and vodaphone through thephonespot (and therefore e2save).

not sure why the link won't show?
Go to thephonespot website, selece faq's from the bottom of the page and then select 'keep my number'......

I did the deal.... via Quidco, went for E2Save as Mr EL is with them and they have been ok for cashback. I got the SIM only deal for £35 a month (300 mins and 250 txt with O2). Had my PAC code on hand.

Presume I will only get £7.50 from Quidco?

    Hi
Just recieved one of these O2 sims (not tracking on quidco for me either im afraid) but im new to 02 and have no idea how to check my balance of minutes and texts remaining on a Monthly Contract with them. Tried the website and email but they are useless and i wont pay their charges for customer service calls (meanie!). I MUST NOT exceed my monthly allowance LOL.
Im using a Motorola L6, if that makes any difference. Sorry to be thick! Thanks in advance for the info.

Hi all, ordered my SIM from E2save via Quidco on 13th May, but it is still not showing up on Quidco, so I have submitted an enquiry.

klcfree - I also wanted to know how many minutes I have so I asked E2save - they were very helpful and told me to call 02 on 0870 1117200 (this comes out of your inclusive minutes) I pressed 1, then 1 and 1 again i think and got a text sent to me from 02 detailing my current balance. Very easy.

NO! dont call that expensive 0870 number call 0800 0490049 then options 2, 2, 2, 1, (hopefully right) then enter ur number when they prompt and you will get the same text message.
    ummm...

E2save confirmed to me 3 minutes ago that both 0870, 0845 and 0800 numbers come out of my minute allowance, so what difference?
