Thing is I'm sure whoever's birthday it was would have rather gone without at the time. I don't know why she would not touch the money in the building society either. It makes me feel so sad when people/companies take the mickey out of vulnerable people. Now my Mum is widowed I often notice this. She had her garden cleared, some new fencing and some turf put down last year and the guy made her think she'd got a great bargain 'only' paying £5000 :eek: Mum's only in her early 50s but is not really savvy, need to teach her

Afternoon all.
tinyshoes, so sorry about your mum, though at least her pain under control. If she is relaxed and comfy that's good, as there is nothing worse than seeing a loved one in pain, as the helpless feeling is dreadful.
Anyone heard from MARK123, was wondering how he is.

Still making lists, thanks to savvy for the update. Got lots of coupons for Mr T to use, so a shop there is needed. I've a feeling that some easily returnable clothes will be on that list, to use up the conditional spends.;)
Does anyone know if the Mullers are working today please? Getting through lots on my SW thing, but the scoffalots have discovered them, and decimated my supply:mad:
