    Afternoon all :T

Got a nice surprise from Quidco! Got a couple of e-mails saying my receipts had tracked. All I was expecting was one for £1, but there were two e-mails: one for 30p and one for £5. A few days ago, I had bought 2 Hovis on one receipt and they had only tracked one of them - I sent them a message pointing this out and they were very apologetic about the mistake, saying it shouldn't have happened and that the extra 30p would show in a few days - low and behold, there it now is .... along with a "goodwill payment" of £5 for the mistake! I was very surprised but good on them.

Therefore, make sure you chase up any discrepancies!! :rotfl::rotfl:

    :j:j
Time to find a way to send them a message about my loo rolls then

My one and only womble that paid out a grand total of 49p has just given me another £1.50 from Quidco - they tracked 3 Ginsters slices on there even though only one was a slice - the other 2 were pasties :D (of course I may have accidently put little dots next to all 3...) Thanks to Patty who mentioned doing that on her receipts :)

    Afternoon everyone, advice please :)

The shopping list for the weekend is looking like a treasure hunt, one item from each shop :D

So rather than getting nothing done this afternoon (to match getting nothing done this morning) and incidentally annoying my OH I am just going to do Sainsbobs this afternoon as I have gift cards and wont be spending any money :T.
Even simpler I am not going to do a brand match shop.

So on the list so far
    tonights pizza dinner
    Upside down ketchup

I think Maynards gums was also on the list and was Walkers baked as well? Yes or no? £1?

If I put each item through seperatley on the SS will I get a receipt on one side, with the date etc all showing? Its been a bit twiddly snapping sainsbobs receipts

What else do I need to remember - desk full of bits of paper :D I think someone said left over Valentines bits were reduced so I will check these and I always check the freezers for reduced ice creams :D

I also put dots on receipts but what do you do if you have 3 different items for snapping?

Yesterday I had to snap the same receipt 3 times for 3 items as the system would no accept the same photo 3 times.

I also circle the date so that stands out and any items Ive bought for snapping I scan at the start of my shopping so these are at the top of my receipt (and not close to the bottom with its collection of MOCS, APGs and TPPs and conditional spends as part payment) :D

Tried the GP years ago and got fobbed off so gave up with them, we've been chasing up various SENCO teachers over the years and he's now been at secondary school a few years so it's been the same person we see, I'm just finally sick of him promising DS to his face since November he will 'have a meeting with you this week' which naturally my Son has psyched himself up for since then and it hasn't happened. He just keeps saying to him whenever he sees him 'I haven't forgotten about you'.
I think this morning finally made me realise i'm not being fobbed off anymore.
I know the wheels of the system turn slow, I'll just be happy if he gets some help with passing his exams, we've dealt with the way he is for over a decade and will carry on (it's just so upsetting and scary when your teenage Son turns and says to you ' if I'm so stupid why aren't I dead?')
Anyhoo I think I rambled on way to much in the night and am doing it again. Thanx for listening :)

Dipdap - I really do feel for you and your DS. Two of my children have Dyslexia and I am a teacher in a Special school. However, getting them tested and dignosed was a long and mysterious process even for someone working in the system! DD was not tested until FE college. (They have access to funds which schools don't). She is now at Uni and has lots of IT equipment and tutorial support and extra time in exams etc. DS is now statemented for Dyslexia as he was identified by a Special Needs Adviser in Primary school. It has all been more luck than judgement! They both have Autistic traits and we try to develop strategies to help them cope. Lists, routines, processing time etc!

Could you ask the SENCO to arrange for the Educational Psychologist to come and observe him at school? Put it in writing and CC it to the Head, LEA etc. We find Autism West Midlands very good for advice at my school.

Sorry Guys! No bargains here. Count me into the HC Appeal Campaign though! :)
