Think I missed this. Have you tried clicking the start button and then searching for what you called it or the first word that you wrote in the document? x

The booger of a doc is sitting in a temp file which is inaccessible- OH has tried everything for me as well as all suggestions on here. Thanks Laacaz:)

  • Afternoon all :T

Got a nice surprise from Quidco! Got a couple of e-mails saying my receipts had tracked. All I was expecting was one for £1, but there were two e-mails: one for 30p and one for £5. A few days ago, I had bought 2 Hovis on one receipt and they had only tracked one of them - I sent them a message pointing this out and they were very apologetic about the mistake, saying it shouldn't have happened and that the extra 30p would show in a few days - low and behold, there it now is .... along with a "goodwill payment" of £5 for the mistake! I was very surprised but good on them.

Therefore, make sure you chase up any discrepancies!! :rotfl::rotfl:

If only morrisons were doing online deliveries, we would have the price of everything. It would certainly make our lives easier!

Tried the GP years ago and got fobbed off so gave up with them, we've been chasing up various SENCO teachers over the years and he's now been at secondary school a few years so it's been the same person we see, I'm just finally sick of him promising DS to his face since November he will 'have a meeting with you this week' which naturally my Son has psyched himself up for since then and it hasn't happened. He just keeps saying to him whenever he sees him 'I haven't forgotten about you'.
I think this morning finally made me realise i'm not being fobbed off anymore.
I know the wheels of the system turn slow, I'll just be happy if he gets some help with passing his exams, we've dealt with the way he is for over a decade and will carry on (it's just so upsetting and scary when your teenage Son turns and says to you ' if I'm so stupid why aren't I dead?')
Anyhoo I think I rambled on way to much in the night and am doing it again. Thanx for listening :)
I wish I had good advice to give you. My DS has Aspergers and has started his GCSEs. He also had other challenges and we pay through the nose to have him taught in a small school that copes well with him. We went the GP route but never got him statemented (we live in a borough where they notoriously make it difficult).

There's a thread about a test to identify aspergers traits (it's an online one that won't stand up in court IYKWIM). Many of the posters have Aspergers themselves or their children have it and have gone further in dealing with it better than we're doing.
